Today was the stuff of dreams. We went to Naval Air Station Sigonella’s Armed Forces Europe Hardwood All-Stars Tour event where Trenton played basketball with Tony Delk (Phoenix Suns), Dale Ellis (Seattle Supersonics), Mistie Bass (Phoenix Mercury), and Sydney Carter (Atlanta Dream) for more than three hours!
When the adults played, Trenton helped the little kids shoot some hoops and was really gentle and encouraging–very proud of his leadership skills today. Trenton’s joy was just overwhelming–he was so excited! He even discussed KD colorways with Mistie. His little love tank is SO full.
Then we went to Dianna’s to meet Giuseppe Gaitano Francesco Salvatore. Their friends brought homemade limoncello and Polish Soplika for all to try. Giuseppe and Trenton bonded over Frank Sinatra and serenaded us all night long.
What a beautiful Saturday in Sicily!
